About iZambeziFest

Leadership With Purpose

iZambeziFest was founded on the belief that meaningful leadership is measured by the impact it creates, not by the recognition it receives.

Operated by Walsona Group Ltd (Company Registration No. 11547885), iZambeziFest has been built to become something greater than any one organisation or individual. Our role is to create the platform; the artists, communities, businesses and audiences are what bring it to life.

At the heart of the festival is a simple idea: to celebrate the cultures, creativity and connections that unite Southern Africa. We bring together Zimbabweans, Zambians, South Africans, Batswana, Namibians, Mozambicans and the wider African diaspora in the UK to share music, food, fashion and culture under one roof.

Our leadership is guided by three principles.

Authenticity

Everything we create should feel genuine. From our programming to our partnerships, we are committed to celebrating Southern African cultures with respect, integrity and authenticity.

Vision

iZambeziFest is more than a one-day event. We are building a platform that strengthens cultural connections, supports creative talent and creates opportunities for communities and businesses to grow together.

Responsibility

We are committed to creating an environment where attendees, artists, volunteers, contractors and partners feel welcomed, respected and safe. We believe great events are built on trust, professionalism and shared responsibility.

Our ambition is not simply to host a festival.

It is to create a lasting platform that celebrates Southern African culture, strengthens community and leaves a legacy that belongs to everyone who helps shape it.
