Terms & Conditions
iZambezi® Event Terms & Conditions of Entry
Applicable to iZambezi®Live and other authorised iZambezi® event chapters · One Region. One Rhythm. · Last revised 19 August 2026
SUPERSESSION OF PREVIOUS TERMS
These Event Terms & Conditions, last revised 19 August 2026, supersede and replace the previous Event Terms & Conditions headed One Region. One Rhythm. and dated 23 January 2026.
From the effective date of this revised version, the Terms dated 23 January 2026 are superseded by this version for the continuing administration of the Event, subject always to applicable law.
Nothing in this provision retrospectively removes, reduces or alters any statutory right or accrued contractual right arising under an earlier version.
iZambezi® will retain an archived copy of the Terms dated 23 January 2026 and subsequent superseded versions for contractual, regulatory, evidential and dispute-resolution purposes.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Please read these Terms & Conditions before purchasing, retaining, receiving or using an iZambezi® Ticket.
These Terms govern Ticket purchases, admission to, attendance at and participation in Events organised, promoted or presented under the iZambezi® brand.
For the current indoor chapter, the Event may be promoted as iZambezi®Live.
The designation iZambezi®Live identifies this indoor chapter. It does not permanently replace the principal iZambezi® brand. Future Events may operate under the iZambezi® name or another authorised iZambezi® event designation.
The Event date, venue, opening times, programme, physical configuration and Ticket categories are not permanently fixed by these master Terms. They will be specified for the applicable Event through the Ticket, booking confirmation and/or Official Event Communications.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or diminishes any statutory consumer right which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
PART I - DEFINITIONS, CONTRACT AND DOCUMENT CONTROL
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
"Attendee" means any person seeking admission to or attending the Event.
"Event" means the applicable event organised, promoted or presented under the iZambezi® brand, including an Event temporarily designated iZambezi®Live.
"Event Credential" means any Ticket, wristband, badge, pass, accreditation, QR code or other credential authorising admission or access.
"Event Particulars" means the applicable Event date, venue, opening and closing times, admission arrangements, Ticket categories and other Event-specific information.
"Official Event Communication" means a communication issued through an authorised iZambezi® channel, including authorised email, website, ticketing platform or official social-media account.
"Organiser", "iZambezi®", "we", "us" or "our" means the person or legal entity identified as the organiser or contracting party in the applicable booking or Event information.
"Ticket" means a valid admission entitlement issued or recognised by iZambezi®.
"Ticket Holder" means the person recognised by iZambezi® as entitled to use the relevant Ticket.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, retaining, receiving or using a Ticket and/or entering the Event, the Ticket Holder or Attendee agrees to comply with these Terms.
Where one person purchases Tickets for other Attendees, the purchaser should bring these Terms to their attention.
Admission and continued attendance remain conditional upon compliance with these Terms, applicable law and lawful and reasonable instructions issued by authorised Event personnel.
3. Contractual Documents and Hierarchy
These Terms shall be read together with the applicable Ticket; booking confirmation; Event Particulars; Event Credential conditions; alcohol redemption conditions; premium, hospitality or restricted-area conditions; parking conditions; applicable venue rules; health, safety and security notices; and Official Event Communications.
Specific operational instructions may supplement these Terms.
Where an operational document contains a more specific requirement relevant to a particular facility or entitlement, it may apply alongside these Terms.
In the event of an irreconcilable inconsistency, these master Terms shall prevail unless the relevant document expressly provides otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.
Nothing contained in any Event document may lawfully remove a statutory consumer right.
4. Event Date, Venue and Event Particulars
These master Terms do not permanently specify an Event date, venue, opening time, programme, seating arrangement or other variable Event Particulars.
Those particulars shall be those communicated for the relevant Event through the applicable Ticket, booking confirmation and/or most recent Official Event Communication.
Where Event Particulars change, iZambezi® will communicate revised information as reasonably appropriate.
Any cancellation, rescheduling, relocation or material alteration remains subject to these Terms and applicable law.
5. Version and Revision Date
The revision date displayed prominently near the beginning of these Terms identifies the current published version.
iZambezi® may revise these Terms where reasonably necessary to reflect changes in law, licensing, venue requirements, safety, security, payment-provider requirements or Event operations.
A later revision shall not retrospectively remove or reduce a statutory right or accrued contractual right belonging to an existing customer.
Where a material amendment is intended to affect existing Ticket Holders, reasonable steps will be taken to communicate that amendment where required.
Previous versions may be retained for contractual, evidential, regulatory and dispute-resolution purposes.
PART II - TICKETS AND TICKET ENTITLEMENTS
6. Nature of a Ticket
A Ticket represents a contractual entitlement to seek admission to the specified Event subject to these Terms.
It does not constitute an unrestricted right to enter or remain at the venue regardless of age, conduct, safety requirements or compliance with lawful conditions of admission.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, one valid Ticket permits admission by one eligible person.
7. Electronic Tickets and Credentials
Tickets may be supplied electronically or in another authorised format.
Electronic Tickets may include QR codes, barcodes, downloadable documents, customer-account credentials or other electronic admission records.
Ticket Holders are responsible for taking reasonable care of their Tickets and admission credentials.
A Ticket which has been cancelled, refunded, fraudulently obtained or previously redeemed is invalid.
8. Variable Ticket Categories
iZambezi® does not operate a permanently fixed set of Ticket categories applicable to every Event.
Ticket categories may vary according to the venue; venue capacity; whether the Event is seated, standing or mixed; physical layout; viewing areas; hospitality arrangements; accessibility arrangements; production configuration; security and capacity requirements; and the overall format of the Event.
A Ticket category offered for one Event does not create an entitlement or expectation that an identically named category will exist at another Event.
9. Ticket Determines the Purchased Entitlement
The final Ticket category, admission entitlement and material benefits purchased by a customer shall be those stated on the applicable Ticket and/or booking confirmation, together with any material information expressly incorporated into the purchase.
References in these Terms to General Admission, VIP, premium seating, hospitality or similar categories are illustrative and do not constitute a commitment that those categories will exist at every Event.
The price or possession of one Ticket category does not confer the benefits of another Ticket category.
10. Existing Tickets Carried Forward
Where iZambezi® expressly confirms that existing Tickets will be carried forward to a rescheduled or relocated Event, a valid unrefunded Ticket will remain valid without requiring the Ticket Holder to purchase another Ticket.
A Ticket which has already been fully refunded no longer carries an admission entitlement.
11. Preservation of Existing Ticket Privileges
Where an existing Ticket is carried forward, the substance of the Ticket Holder's material purchased entitlement will be honoured so far as reasonably applicable to the revised Event configuration.
This does not necessarily require a new venue to reproduce the precise physical layout, Ticket-category name, seating configuration or location of a previous venue.
Where the original entitlement can reasonably be reproduced, it will be honoured.
Where exact replication is impracticable because of the venue or Event configuration, iZambezi® may provide an appropriate equivalent having regard to the Ticket originally purchased; material benefits originally included; the relative status of the original category; the Event configuration and venue facilities; and applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this clause permits the removal of a material paid-for benefit without an appropriate equivalent or such remedy as applicable law requires.
12. Restricted, Premium and Controlled Areas
Access to any restricted, premium, hospitality, seating or other controlled area requires the Ticket or Event Credential applicable to that area.
Event personnel may inspect Tickets, wristbands, badges or other credentials before allowing access.
An Attendee must not enter or remain in an area for which their Ticket or Credential provides no entitlement.
Attempted credential sharing or deliberate circumvention of access controls may result in removal from the restricted area and, in serious or repeated cases, removal from the Event.
13. Dated Leisure Events and Cooling-Off
Where the applicable statutory exception for leisure services supplied on a specific date or during a specified period applies, the usual 14-day distance-contract cancellation right does not apply to the Ticket.
Purchasing a dated Event Ticket online therefore does not, by itself, create a general right to cancel merely because the purchaser changes their mind.
This clause does not affect rights arising from cancellation, material alteration or any other circumstance in which applicable law provides a remedy.
14. Lost, Stolen or Compromised Tickets
Ticket Holders must take reasonable steps to protect Tickets, QR codes and booking credentials.
Where a Ticket is lost, stolen or compromised, iZambezi® may require reasonable verification before issuing replacement credentials.
Where appropriate, the previous credential may first be invalidated.
iZambezi® is not required to admit multiple persons presenting the same admission credential.
15. Duplicate Tickets
Where the same unique Ticket or admission credential is presented more than once, iZambezi® may rely upon its ticketing and scanning records to determine whether the Ticket has already been redeemed.
Deliberate duplication, fraudulent reproduction or distribution of duplicate Tickets is prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
PART III - TICKET DONATION, REASSIGNMENT AND ANTI-TOUTING
16. No Speculative or Commercial Resale
iZambezi® Tickets are intended for genuine Attendees.
Tickets must not be purchased or retained primarily for speculative resale, commercial ticket trading or profiteering.
Ticket Holders must not use Tickets for unauthorised ticket touting, inflated-price resale, auctioning or systematic secondary-market trading contrary to these Terms or applicable law.
Nothing in this clause permits cancellation or other action where that action would itself be prohibited by law.
17. Ticket Hoarding
Tickets must not be deliberately acquired or retained principally for the purpose of exploiting increased demand as the Event approaches.
Conduct which may reasonably indicate prohibited speculative trading may include repeated purchasing and onward sale, organised resale activity or systematic advertising of Tickets at substantially inflated prices.
Any action taken in response shall be reasonable, proportionate and lawful.
18. Approved Ticket Donation/Reassignment
A genuine Ticket Holder who no longer wishes or is unable to attend may request permission to gift or donate their Ticket to another eligible person.
This is a controlled Ticket reassignment facility.
It is not an open secondary-ticket resale market.
Prior approval from the authorised iZambezi® team is required.
19. No Commercial Profit Through Reassignment
The approved reassignment facility must not be used to generate commercial profit.
A Ticket Holder must not use the facility to impose an inflated price, premium, commission, transfer charge or speculative markup upon the proposed recipient.
20. Reassignment Procedure
The original Ticket Holder may be required to provide reasonable information including purchaser name; booking reference; registered email address; Ticket number; proposed recipient's name; proposed recipient's contact information; and confirmation that the reassignment is genuine and not an unauthorised commercial resale.
Additional reasonable verification may be requested to prevent fraud.
21. Approval of Reassignment
A reassignment becomes effective only when iZambezi® confirms approval.
Forwarding a QR code, screenshot, Ticket or booking email does not constitute an approved reassignment.
Following approval, iZambezi® may invalidate the original admission credential and issue a replacement credential to the approved recipient.
22. Rights Following Approved Reassignment
An approved recipient receives the admission entitlement and material benefits attached to the Ticket.
The reassignment does not itself upgrade or downgrade the Ticket.
Where a Ticket has been carried forward from an earlier Event configuration, the recipient receives the corresponding entitlement the original Ticket Holder would have received under these Terms.
No additional admission entitlement is created.
23. Eligibility of Recipient
An approved recipient must independently satisfy all conditions of admission.
For an 18+ Event, the recipient must be aged 18 or over.
Approval of reassignment does not constitute proof of age.
24. Reassignment Cut-Off
iZambezi® may establish and communicate a reasonable administrative deadline for reassignment requests before an Event.
A request received after that deadline may be refused where Ticket, accreditation, admission or security records can no longer reasonably be amended.
25. Refunded Tickets Cannot Be Reassigned
A refunded Ticket is cancelled.
It cannot subsequently be used, donated or reassigned.
Where only part of an order has been refunded, only the remaining valid and unrefunded Tickets retain admission entitlements.
26. No Duplicate Entitlement
Each Ticket represents one admission entitlement.
A Ticket cannot simultaneously be used by the original Ticket Holder; used by an approved recipient; and treated as refunded.
Once an approved reassignment has been completed, the original holder may no longer use that Ticket.
PART IV - AGE, IDENTIFICATION AND ADMISSION
27. Age Restriction
Where the applicable Event is advertised as 18+, no person under the age of 18 will be admitted.
There are no accompanied-child or parental-consent exceptions for an Event advertised as strictly 18+.
Future iZambezi® Events may have different age policies where expressly stated in the applicable Event Particulars.
28. Identification and Challenge 25
Valid photographic proof of age may be required.
The Event may operate a Challenge 25 policy.
A person who appears to be under 25 may therefore be asked to produce acceptable identification establishing that they are at least 18.
Failure or refusal to provide satisfactory identification where reasonably required may result in refusal of admission or refusal of alcohol service.
29. Conditional Admission
Admission is conditional upon possession of a valid Ticket; compliance with the applicable age restriction; compliance with security procedures; compliance with these Terms; compliance with applicable law; and compliance with lawful and reasonable Event instructions.
30. Right to Refuse Admission
The Organiser may refuse admission where there are reasonable and lawful grounds to do so.
Possession of a Ticket does not prevent lawful refusal of admission arising from a breach of these Terms.
31. Security Searches
Reasonable and proportionate security screening is a condition of admission.
This may include bag searches; inspection of possessions; Ticket verification; identity or age verification; and screening for prohibited items.
A person refusing a reasonable security requirement may be refused admission.
Searches shall be conducted with due regard to dignity, equality and applicable law.
32. Prohibited Items
Prohibited items include, without limitation: alcohol brought from outside; illegal drugs; unlawfully possessed controlled substances; weapons; offensive weapons; explosives; fireworks; flares; glass containers; unauthorised drones; hazardous materials; and items reasonably considered capable of creating a significant safety or security risk.
Additional prohibited items may be communicated where reasonably necessary for safety, licensing or venue requirements.
33. Illegal Drugs
Illegal drugs and unlawful controlled substances are strictly prohibited.
Suspected possession, supply or distribution may result in refusal of admission, removal and/or referral to the police.
34. Intoxication
A person who appears sufficiently intoxicated that admission would present a safety, welfare, licensing or public-order concern may be refused admission.
An Attendee who becomes excessively intoxicated after admission may be removed.
Possession of a Ticket or prepaid alcohol voucher does not override these requirements.
PART V - BEHAVIOUR, SAFETY AND REMOVAL
35. Standards of Behaviour
Attendees must behave responsibly and with reasonable consideration for other Attendees, performers, staff, contractors, vendors and venue personnel.
The following are prohibited: violence or threatened violence; harassment; intimidation; discriminatory abuse; fighting; theft; deliberate property damage; dangerous behaviour; serious or persistent disruption; unauthorised interference with Event equipment; unauthorised entry into restricted areas; and refusal to comply with lawful and reasonable safety or security instructions.
36. Indoor Venue Conduct
At an indoor Event, Attendees must pay particular attention to fire-safety requirements; emergency exits; capacity restrictions; crowd-management instructions; restricted areas; smoking and vaping restrictions; and noise-management measures.
Emergency exits, barriers, fire-safety equipment and crowd-control systems must not be obstructed or interfered with.
37. Public Nuisance and Serious Disruption
Conduct causing serious nuisance, unreasonable disturbance or disruption may result in intervention by Event personnel.
Where the person responsible can reasonably be identified, they may be required to cease the behaviour or may be removed where the circumstances justify removal.
38. Removal From the Event
Authorised Event management or security may remove an Attendee where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the person: has materially breached these Terms; poses a safety or security risk; is excessively intoxicated; has engaged in violence, harassment or serious nuisance; has entered a restricted area without authority; is using fraudulent credentials; or refuses lawful and reasonable instructions.
Where reasonably practicable, serious incidents may be documented.
39. Refund Position Following Lawful Refusal or Removal
Where an Attendee is lawfully refused admission or removed because of their own material breach of these Terms, an ordinary contractual refund will not normally be payable.
This may include refusal or removal arising from: failure to satisfy the applicable age restriction; failure to provide required proof of age; intoxication; prohibited items; illegal drugs; violence; serious harassment; fraudulent Tickets; refusal of reasonable security screening; or serious misconduct.
Nothing in this provision removes a remedy where refusal or removal was itself unlawful.
PART VI - NO RE-ENTRY
40. Strict No-Re-Entry Policy
Unless expressly authorised, the Event operates a strict no-re-entry policy.
Once an Attendee has entered and the Ticket has been validated or redeemed, voluntarily leaving the controlled Event area ordinarily terminates that person's admission for the remainder of the Event.
Security personnel may refuse re-entry.
41. Leaving the Venue Voluntarily
Leaving to visit a vehicle; smoke outside; meet another person; obtain cash; make an external purchase; collect personal property; or attend to another personal matter, does not ordinarily create a right of re-entry.
No refund will normally be payable because an Attendee voluntarily left and was subsequently refused re-entry.
42. Exceptions to No Re-Entry
An exception may be authorised where required by applicable law; a reasonable disability-related adjustment; a medical emergency; or express authorisation from appropriate Event management.
An exception granted on one occasion does not create a general right of re-entry.
PART VII - ALCOHOL
43. Licensed Alcohol
Alcohol will be sold and supplied only in accordance with the Licensing Act 2003, applicable licence or authorisation, mandatory conditions and any Event-specific licensing requirements.
Nothing in these Terms authorises a sale or supply contrary to licensing law.
44. No External Alcohol
Attendees must not bring alcohol into the Event.
Alcohol discovered during entry screening must not be taken into the controlled Event area.
The Attendee may be required to remove it from the Event or voluntarily surrender it for disposal where appropriate.
Alcohol surrendered for disposal will not be stored, returned or compensated.
45. Advance Purchase of Alcohol
Where the Event operates an advance-purchase alcohol system, qualifying alcohol must be ordered and paid for through an authorised channel before redemption.
Attendees should not assume that additional alcohol stock will be available for spontaneous purchase at the Event.
Advance payment does not override licensing requirements.
46. Alcohol Redemption Credentials
A qualifying advance purchase may generate a physical or electronic voucher, token, QR code or other redemption credential.
The credential evidences the applicable prepaid order but remains subject to lawful service requirements.
A redemption credential: may be used only as authorised; may not be duplicated; may be redeemed only once; may be invalidated following redemption; and must not be used to facilitate unlawful alcohol supply.
47. Age Verification at Alcohol Redemption
Admission to an 18+ Event does not prevent alcohol-service personnel from requesting identification again.
Challenge 25 may operate at the point of alcohol redemption.
A voucher is not proof of age.
Alcohol will not be supplied where required identification is not produced, or supply would otherwise be unlawful.
48. Refusal of Alcohol Service
Prepayment does not create an absolute entitlement to receive alcohol.
Service may be refused where required because of intoxication; failure of age verification; suspected proxy purchasing; licensing restrictions; or another lawful reason.
Any question concerning reimbursement for a prepaid alcohol item which cannot lawfully be supplied will be determined according to the circumstances, applicable purchase conditions and applicable law.
PART VIII - CASHLESS OPERATION
49. Cashless Event
Where announced in the Event Particulars or Official Event Communications, the Event will operate on a cashless basis.
Cash will not be accepted for Event-controlled transactions unless iZambezi® expressly announces otherwise.
Attendees should ensure that they have an accepted cashless payment method for purchases which have not been prepaid.
50. Payment-System Interruptions
Where an electronic payment system experiences temporary technical difficulties, iZambezi® may implement reasonable alternative arrangements where available.
A temporary payment-system interruption does not guarantee that cash will be accepted.
PART IX - PREMIUM, VIP AND CONTROLLED AREAS
51. Controlled Area Access
Access to any premium, VIP, hospitality, designated seating or other controlled area is restricted to persons whose applicable Ticket or Event Credential confers that entitlement.
The terminology and configuration of such areas may differ between Events.
52. Credentials
Where an Event Credential is required for a controlled area, it must be worn or displayed as instructed.
Security may verify the Credential whenever an Attendee seeks to enter or remain in that area.
A person unable to demonstrate the relevant entitlement may be refused access to that area.
Credentials must not be fraudulently copied, shared or transferred.
PART X - PARKING AND TRANSPORT
53. Limited Parking
Parking may be extremely limited.
Purchase of an Event Ticket does not guarantee a parking space unless parking is expressly included in the booking.
Attendees are encouraged to make suitable transport arrangements before travelling.
54. Parking Charges and Conditions
Where parking is chargeable, the applicable parking fee must be paid in accordance with the requirements of the relevant parking provider.
Attendees must comply with applicable pay-and-display, registration, permit and other displayed parking conditions.
Vehicles parked contrary to lawful parking requirements may be subject to enforcement by the relevant landowner, operator or competent authority.
55. Vehicles and Property
Vehicles and property left inside them remain at the owner's risk except to the extent that liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Organiser does not guarantee the security or availability of third-party parking facilities.
PART XI - VENDORS AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
56. Vendor Approval
No person may trade, cater, exhibit or otherwise operate commercially at the Event without prior authorisation.
Vendors may be required to satisfy appropriate due-diligence and compliance requirements before being admitted to trade.
57. Vendor Vetting
Depending upon the vendor's activities, vetting may include evidence concerning food hygiene; public or product liability insurance; electrical or equipment safety; licensing; environmental compliance; waste-management arrangements; applicable permits or registrations; and other legal requirements relevant to the proposed activity.
Approval by iZambezi® does not transfer the vendor's own legal obligations to the Organiser.
58. Environmental and Waste Compliance
Vendors must comply with applicable environmental and waste-management law and Event procedures.
They must cooperate with applicable requirements concerning recycling, food waste, residual waste and other required waste streams.
Waste must be handled, stored and transferred lawfully.
59. Vendor Environmental Deposit
iZambezi® may require a vendor to pay a refundable environmental or waste-compliance deposit.
The amount, payment date and applicable requirements will be stated in the vendor agreement.
The deposit is intended as security for compliance and not as a penalty.
60. Return of Environmental Deposit
The environmental deposit will ordinarily be returned after the Event once iZambezi® is reasonably satisfied that the vendor has complied with the applicable environmental and waste requirements.
This may include satisfactory: clearance of the allocated trading area; separation of required waste streams; disposal of food waste; use of designated recycling facilities; removal or disposal of commercial waste; and compliance with lawful waste-transfer requirements.
61. Deductions From Environmental Deposit
Where a vendor's failure causes reasonable additional cleaning, sorting, waste-disposal or remediation costs, iZambezi® may deduct reasonable and evidenced costs attributable to that failure.
Any remaining balance shall be returned.
Where legally recoverable losses exceed the deposit, the Organiser may pursue the responsible vendor for the additional amount.
62. Attendee Environmental Responsibility
Attendees must use designated waste and recycling facilities.
Littering, fly-tipping and deliberate contamination of waste streams are prohibited.
Attendees should follow Event signage and reasonable staff instructions concerning waste and recycling.
PART XII - ACCESSIBILITY, MEDICAL AND WELFARE
63. Accessibility and Reasonable Adjustments
iZambezi® will make reasonable adjustments for disabled Attendees where required by applicable equality law.
Attendees requiring arrangements which reasonably need advance preparation are encouraged to contact the Event team sufficiently in advance.
Operational policies, including no re-entry, remain subject to lawful reasonable adjustments.
64. Medical Assistance
Appropriate first-aid or medical arrangements will be provided having regard to the Event risk assessment and applicable requirements.
Attendees should promptly alert Event personnel where medical assistance is required.
65. Welfare Intervention
Event personnel may undertake reasonable welfare interventions where there are reasonable grounds to believe that an Attendee's health, safety or wellbeing is at risk.
Nothing in these Terms restricts emergency services from carrying out their lawful functions.
PART XIII - PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING, CCTV AND DATA
66. Event Photography and Filming
Photography, filming and recording may take place at the Event.
Images and recordings may be processed and used for legitimate Event reporting, archival, promotional, publicity and marketing purposes, subject to applicable data-protection law.
Where consent is legally required as the appropriate lawful basis, it will be sought where necessary.
67. CCTV and Security Recording
CCTV and/or authorised body-worn recording equipment may operate for legitimate purposes including public safety; crime prevention; incident investigation; protection of Attendees and staff; and protection of property.
Personal data obtained through such systems will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
68. Personal Data
Personal data may be processed for legitimate Event purposes including Ticket administration; payment processing; fraud prevention; admission; security; licensing compliance; customer service; refund administration; approved Ticket reassignment; and dispute management.
Further information should be provided through the applicable Privacy Notice.
PART XIV - PROGRAMME AND EVENT CHANGES
69. Artists, Programme and Timings
Advertised performers, running orders, attractions and timings may be subject to reasonable change.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at the point of sale, a Ticket is purchased for the Event as a whole and does not guarantee the appearance of one performer at a particular time.
Withdrawal, substitution or rescheduling of an individual performer does not automatically create a refund entitlement.
70. Material Alteration
Whether a change constitutes a material alteration will be assessed objectively having regard to what a reasonable Ticket purchaser could reasonably have expected from information prominently provided when the Ticket was purchased.
Minor timetable changes, running-order changes, reasonable operational adjustments, changes to individual performers and comparable changes will not necessarily constitute material alterations.
Where a change is sufficiently substantial that applicable law requires a remedy, that right will be respected.
71. Partial Performance or Curtailment
Where an Event begins but is subsequently interrupted, curtailed or partially cancelled, any refund or other remedy will be determined having regard to the extent of the Event already supplied; the part which could not be supplied; the circumstances causing the interruption; the contractual expectations reasonably created at purchase; and applicable consumer law.
Partial interruption does not automatically have the same consequences as complete cancellation before the Event begins.
PART XV - FORCE MAJEURE
72. Definition of Force Majeure
A Force Majeure Event means an event or circumstance outside the Organiser's reasonable control which prevents, materially impedes or makes unlawful or unsafe the holding or continuation of the Event despite reasonable measures appropriate to the circumstances.
Depending upon the circumstances, this may include: fire; flood; severe or dangerous weather; natural disaster; epidemic or pandemic; outbreak of infectious disease; war; terrorism or credible terrorist threat; riot or serious civil disorder; national emergency; government prohibition; mandatory legal restriction; police, local-authority or emergency-service direction; licensing restriction arising through circumstances not caused by the Organiser's breach; major venue structural or safety failure; major interruption of essential utilities; national or regional transport shutdown; industrial action materially preventing the Event; or another comparable circumstance genuinely outside reasonable control.
A circumstance does not become Force Majeure merely because holding the Event becomes less profitable, more expensive or commercially inconvenient.
73. Consequences of Force Majeure
A Force Majeure Event may result in reasonable: postponement; rescheduling; relocation; interruption; curtailment; or cancellation.
The Organiser will take such reasonable mitigating steps as are appropriate in the circumstances.
74. Force Majeure and Consumer Rights
Force Majeure does not automatically extinguish statutory consumer rights.
Where the contracted Event service cannot be supplied, any refund or other remedy will be determined according to applicable law and the circumstances.
iZambezi® may, where appropriate, offer a replacement Event, replacement date, credit or other alternative.
An alternative will not be used to remove a monetary refund right where applicable law requires such a refund.
PART XVI - CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING AND REFUNDS
75. Customer Change of Mind
Except where iZambezi® expressly provides otherwise or applicable law creates a refund entitlement, Tickets are ordinarily non-refundable where the customer merely changes their mind or becomes unable to attend for personal reasons.
Personal circumstances may include illness, work commitments, travel difficulties, holiday arrangements or another personal inability to attend.
Where eligible, the Ticket Holder may instead request approved Ticket donation/reassignment.
76. Complete Cancellation
Where the Event is cancelled in its entirety and no replacement Event is provided, customers will receive such refund or remedy as is required by applicable law.
iZambezi® will not rely upon these Terms to retain money where doing so would be unlawful or where the relevant provision would be unfair and unenforceable.
77. Rescheduling
Where an Event is rescheduled, existing valid Tickets may remain valid for the replacement Event.
iZambezi® will communicate the revised Event Particulars through an appropriate Official Event Communication.
Where the rescheduling creates a statutory or expressly offered refund entitlement, that entitlement will be respected.
78. Relocation
An Event may be relocated where reasonably necessary.
A change of venue does not automatically constitute a material alteration.
Whether a relocation gives rise to a remedy will depend upon the nature and significance of the change, the representations made at purchase and applicable law.
79. Special Refund Arrangements
iZambezi® may offer a specific refund window or other arrangement following a rescheduling, relocation, material alteration or other Event circumstance.
Such an arrangement may be communicated separately through an Official Event Communication.
The applicable: eligibility criteria; claim deadline; information requirements; processing arrangements; and payment arrangements, will be those expressly stated in that communication, subject always to applicable law.
A special refund arrangement for one Event does not automatically create an identical arrangement for future Events.
Expiry of an expressly offered refund window does not extinguish a statutory right which cannot lawfully be extinguished.
80. Processing of Refunds
Where a refund is due, iZambezi® will process it in accordance with applicable law and any specific refund arrangement communicated for the Event.
Where reasonably practicable, refunds will ordinarily be returned through the original payment method.
The processing period applicable to a special refund arrangement may be specified in the corresponding Official Event Communication.
These master Terms do not impose one universal processing period upon every possible category of refund.
81. Previously Refunded Tickets
A fully refunded Ticket is cancelled and ceases to provide an admission entitlement.
Where only part of an order has been refunded, only the remaining valid and unrefunded Tickets continue to provide admission entitlements.
82. No Duplicate Recovery
A customer may not recover the same loss twice.
Where a customer has already received a full refund, reimbursement, chargeback, payment-provider reimbursement or equivalent recovery in respect of the same loss, no duplicate reimbursement is due for that same loss.
Where an earlier payment only partially satisfies an amount lawfully due, this clause does not prevent recovery of any legitimate outstanding balance.
PART XVII - PAYPAL, CARD AND PAYMENT-PROVIDER DISPUTES
83. Nature of the Ticket Transaction
An iZambezi® Ticket principally represents a contractual entitlement to admission to a specified leisure Event subject to these Terms.
It is not principally the sale of a physical consumer product.
Payment-provider descriptions or dispute categories such as "goods", "services", "item not received", "defective", or "significantly not as described" may have separate meanings under the payment provider's own rules.
The selection or use of a particular dispute category does not by itself establish whether the Event admission service was properly supplied.
Nothing in this section prevents a consumer from exercising a statutory right or a legitimate right under the rules of their payment provider.
84. PAYMENT-PROVIDER / PAYPAL DISPUTE EVIDENCE NOTICE
THIS SECTION AND CLAUSES 83 TO 87 ARE INTENDED TO BE CAPABLE OF BEING PROVIDED SEPARATELY TO PAYPAL, A BANK, CARD ISSUER OR OTHER PAYMENT PROVIDER IN CONNECTION WITH A PAYMENT DISPUTE.
An iZambezi® Ticket represents an admission entitlement to the Event identified in the applicable booking.
Depending upon the dispute, iZambezi® may provide relevant evidence including: order confirmation; payment transaction record; Ticket number; Ticket category; electronic Ticket delivery record; booking email; the applicable version of these Terms; applicable Event Particulars; Official Event Communications; Ticket scanning or redemption records; admission records; approved Ticket reassignment records; security incident records where relevant; refund records; and other appropriate evidence showing whether the admission entitlement was supplied, made available, accessed, cancelled, reassigned or refunded.
85. Electronic Ticket Delivery Evidence
Where a Ticket is electronically supplied, appropriate system records may be used as evidence of delivery or availability.
Relevant records may include date and time of purchase; transaction identifier; Ticket identifier; electronic delivery destination; date or time of Ticket issuance; Ticket access information where available; scanning or redemption information; and refund or cancellation status.
The absence of a physical product delivered by post does not, by itself, mean that an electronically supplied Event Ticket was not delivered.
86. Admission and Redemption Evidence
Where an Event Ticket is scanned, redeemed or otherwise recorded as used for admission, appropriate Event records may be relied upon as evidence that the Ticket was presented and/or the admission service accessed.
Where a customer was refused admission or removed for a documented breach of clearly disclosed conditions of entry, iZambezi® may provide relevant Terms, Event records and incident evidence to the payment provider.
87. Payment-Provider Decisions
PayPal Buyer Protection, Seller Protection, card chargeback procedures and statutory consumer rights are separate contractual or legal mechanisms.
These Terms do not determine or guarantee the outcome of an independent payment-provider decision.
Where a legitimate refund is due, iZambezi® will not rely upon this section to defeat that entitlement.
Where a payment-provider dispute is already active, iZambezi® may reasonably coordinate reimbursement through the relevant dispute procedure where necessary to avoid duplicate payment.
PART XVIII - PERSONAL PROPERTY AND LIABILITY
88. Personal Property
Attendees remain responsible for their personal possessions.
iZambezi® does not accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage except where liability arises under applicable law.
Valuable property should not be left unattended.
89. Personal Travel and Ancillary Arrangements
Unless expressly sold by iZambezi® as part of the applicable Ticket package, Attendees remain responsible for their own: travel; accommodation; taxis; parking; clothing; childcare; external meals; and other personal arrangements.
Any liability relating to consequential expenditure will be determined according to applicable law.
Nothing in this provision excludes liability which cannot lawfully be excluded.
90. Liability Which Cannot Be Excluded
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing excludes liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing removes statutory consumer rights.
PART XIX - COMMERCIAL USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
91. Unauthorised Commercial Use of Tickets
Tickets must not be used without prior written authorisation as part of commercial promotions; competitions; prize draws; advertising campaigns; sponsorship packages; corporate incentives; or another unauthorised commercial activity.
This does not prevent ordinary private use of a Ticket in accordance with these Terms.
92. iZambezi® Intellectual Property
The iZambezi® name, associated branding, logos, artwork and other protected brand assets remain the intellectual property of their respective owner or authorised rights holder.
Purchase or possession of a Ticket does not confer intellectual-property rights in the iZambezi® brand.
Use of iZambezi®Live for an indoor chapter does not constitute abandonment or permanent replacement of the principal iZambezi® brand.
PART XX - GENERAL PROVISIONS
93. Event Insurance
The Organiser will maintain such insurance as is appropriate and/or legally required for the Event.
The existence of insurance does not alter the respective legal rights and responsibilities of the Organiser, vendors and Attendees.
94. Reasonable and Lawful Enforcement
Security and Event-management decisions under these Terms must be exercised reasonably, proportionately and consistently with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms authorises unlawful discrimination or gives Event personnel powers which they do not legally possess.
95. Complaints
Complaints should be submitted through the official iZambezi® customer-service channel.
Customers should provide sufficient information to allow the matter to be investigated, which may include purchaser name; order number; Ticket number; booking email address; description of the issue; and relevant supporting evidence.
iZambezi® may request reasonable additional information.
Nothing in this complaint’s procedure restricts statutory remedies.
96. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it shall, where legally possible, be modified only to the minimum extent necessary.
Where modification is not possible, the affected provision shall be severed.
The remainder of these Terms shall continue in effect.
97. No Waiver
Failure by iZambezi® to enforce a provision on one occasion does not permanently waive the right to enforce that provision on another occasion.
Any waiver must be properly authorised.
98. Changes to These Terms
iZambezi® may make reasonable changes to these Terms where necessary to reflect changes in law; licensing; venue requirements; health and safety; security; payment-provider requirements; or Event operations.
Changes shall not retrospectively remove accrued statutory or contractual rights.
Material changes affecting existing Ticket Holders will be communicated where reasonably required.
99. Governing Law
These Terms and the contractual relationship to which they apply are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
100. Jurisdiction
The courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer right permitting proceedings in another jurisdiction.
101. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or diminish any consumer or other legal right which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or diminished.
Where any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory requirement of applicable law, the mandatory legal requirement shall prevail.
IMPORTANT CUSTOMER SUMMARY
This summary is provided for convenience only. The complete Terms above apply.
iZambezi® is the principal brand. iZambezi®Live is the temporary designation for the current indoor chapter.
The Event date, venue, Ticket categories and Event configuration are specified separately for each Event.
The Ticket and/or booking confirmation identifies the customer's final Ticket category and material purchased entitlement.
Existing valid Tickets which iZambezi® expressly confirms are being carried forward remain valid, and the substance of their applicable material privileges will be honoured.
Where the Event is advertised as 18+, no person under 18 will be admitted. This policy applies at New Bingley Hall because the venue requires that there be no possibility of alcohol being sold to a person under 18 on its premises. Operating the Event as strictly 18+, with no accompanied-child or parental-consent exception, removes that risk entirely, rather than relying on point-of-sale checks alone. This is a management decision taken for this indoor chapter and does not necessarily apply to every future iZambezi® Event.
Challenge 25 may operate.
Reasonable security screening is a condition of admission.
Outside alcohol is prohibited.
Where advance alcohol purchasing operates, a prepaid voucher remains subject to age verification, intoxication rules and licensing law.
The Event may operate on a cashless basis.
Unless an authorised exception applies, there is a strict no-re-entry policy.
Access to premium, hospitality, seating, VIP or other controlled areas requires the appropriate Ticket or Event Credential.
Parking may be extremely limited and applicable parking conditions and charges must be observed.
Tickets must not be hoarded or commercially resold for speculative profit.
A genuine Ticket Holder who can no longer attend may request permission to gift or donate their Ticket to one named replacement Attendee, subject to prior iZambezi® approval.
A refunded Ticket is cancelled and cannot subsequently be used or reassigned.
Serious misconduct, intoxication, fraud, prohibited items, refusal of reasonable security requirements or another material breach may result in refusal of admission or removal without an ordinary contractual refund, subject always to statutory rights.
Artists, programmes and timings may reasonably change.
Cancellation, rescheduling, relocation, material alteration and Force Majeure will be dealt with under these Terms and applicable consumer law.
Special refund arrangements may be communicated separately for a particular Event. The eligibility, deadline and processing arrangements stated in the applicable Official Event Communication apply to that arrangement, subject to statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms removes a legal right which applicable law says cannot be removed.
